I saw an ad for "Neil Simon's The Goodbye Girl" on TNT featuring
a pseudo-reggae version of this song performed by Hootie and the
Blowfish.  Here is my rendition of the original song by Bread,
which is really a piano song; experiment with hammer-ons and
pull-offs over the basic rhythm chords to add the depth found in
the recording.  For example, in the intro I phrased the tab so the lead
melody is played on the 2nd string; note the open-Cm
shaped E barre chord at the 4th fret. The timing is approx.
