Their first single is out, and it's hil-fucking-larious! God I hate
America!
Note: as with all Green Day songs the tuning is in Eb [low to high:
Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-eb]

Verse: same as intro with a 'My Generation' [the Who, 1969] style format
       [singing one line of the verse[s] at a time, then playing the
riff, then doing the next line, then playign the riff, etc. etc.
etc.....]
Chorus: [all barre chords [except final A5, as noted], the number in []
after the chord shows at which fret to play the chords]
          D [5th] A [5th] E [7th] A5 [power chord]
The whole songs revolves around the basic box shape at the 5th fret, it
is the basis of the riffs

[Solo] [I improv it, it is in the B Major Scale, and i toss in classic
Billie Joe licks from their first albums, and from songs like "Only of
You", "Dry Ice", and "My Generation"... feel free to rock the fuck out,
its punk!]
Intro riff 3 times, then it continues into the 3rd verse playing the riff
all throughout
