Battle Of Evermore - Led Zeppelin sur Guitariff.net THE BATTLE OF EVERMORE By: Led Zeppelin Album: Led Zeppelin IV "untitled" Copyright 1971 Tab written by: William Schulte This is one of my personal favorite Zeppelin songs. What is amazing about the song is that the lyrics are referring to the Battle of Helms Deep from the second Lord of the Rings book (Written by JRR Tolkien). I would tell you what all the words are talking about, but there is a whole website that tells what the lyrics mean(the website is listed below). This first part of the song is usually played on a mandola or mandolin, (an eight string guitar played by John Paul Jones in the original version).But I transcribed it to guitar.
