Sent: Tuesday, December 09, 1997 5:06 PM title: Richard III by: Supergrass from: In it For The Money O.k. This is my second attempt at tabbing. Unfortunately the 1st wasnt the best(Check out the chord tab of Song 2 by Blur to see how bad). Anyway this song is one of the best on supergrasses album In it For the money and its quite easy to play. Although the chords are correct rhythm may be out in places as Im writing from memory so dont take it as Gospel, Lyrics are also a bit iffey. HereGoes........ Intro(with drums) A Eb E--------------------------------- B---2--2--2--2--2/8--8--8--8--8--8 G---2--2--2--2--2/8--8--8--8--8--8 x 3 D---2--2--2--2--2/8--8--8--8--8--8 A---0--0--0--0--0/6--6--6--6--6--6 E--------------------------------- After 3rd time play this....(Riff 1) C D Eb F E--------------| B--------------| G--5--7--8--10-| WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO D--------------| A--3--5--6--8--| E--------------| Next Riff is played throughout each verse and solo....(Riff 2) C A Eb E-----------------------------| B----2--2--2--2--8--8--8--8--8| G----2--2--2--2--8--8--8--8--8| D--2-2--2--2--2--8--8--8--8--8| A--3p0--0--0--0--6--6--6--6--6| E-----------------------------| Lyrics Vs1(w/Riff 2) Got up today what a day thanks a million Slipped to my side wondering why I got it a million, yeahhh Chorus C G# I know youre only trying to get away G Riff 1 But its the hardest thing youll ever know Vs 2(w/Riff 2) Waited in line terrified worth a million Late to say theres nothing to say they already heard you yeahh Repeat Chorus Bridge-High lead bit Chords are C and F (I think) Bridge lyrics(w/Riff 2-just the C to A pull off) Tryin to get at ya Tryin to get at ya The solo has the same chords as the verse and is played with wah....someone else can attempt to figure that out Finish by repeating chorus twice and bobs your uncle, melissas your aunt. There are one or two bits I left out like the bit between the bridge and solo and the end riff but unfortunately i cant remember how its played. Any thoughts, comments, good looking sisters or money to coilean@hotmail.com Feedback would be appreciated.
